Danna Dennis founded Empowering Organizers to help government agencies, nonprofits, and advocacy organizations build authentic relationships with the communities they serve — translating lived experience and organizing expertise into practical strategy.
Organizing Experience Behind the Firm
A citywide campaign centered on transit fare affordability. Danna contributed to the Fair Fares NYC campaign in multiple capacities, including as a staff and community organizer, coalition member, volunteer organizer, and consultant.
This reflects Danna’s personal experience with the Fair Fares NYC campaign, not a formally contracted Empowering Organizers client project.
